Love Prayer / Zig Zag Wanderer is the second 7" EP from UK rhythm & blues quartet The Capellas, released by Rogue Records on March 5, 2025. The A-side, “Love Prayer,” is a soulful, hip-shaking original penned by Elsa and Mike Whittaker. The B-side is a fuzzed-out cover of Captain Beefheart’s “Zig Zag Wanderer,” reimagined with raw beat swagger. Featuring members of The Jack Cades, The Baron Four, and The Embrooks, the EP was recorded at North Down Sound and mastered at Gizzard Studios. Pressed in a limited run of 500 copies and housed in a fully laminated flipback sleeve designed by Serge-Jérôme Laverny, this release is a must-have for fans of mod, soul beat, and garage R&B revival.
